Sharafadeen Alli Urges Traffic Agencies to Enforce Checks After Ibadan Crash

Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC–Oyo South) has called on traffic regulation agencies to enforce compliance and conduct routine checks on vehicles nationwide, saying it would help prevent avoidable road deaths. The APC chieftain made the call reacting to Tuesday’s accident in Ibadan.

It was reported that two people lost their lives as a result of an accident that occurred in Ibadan, Oyo State Capital on Tuesday.

Alli, in his reaction, urged agencies responsible for road safety to enforce all necessary regulations to prevent future occurrences.

The lawmaker, through a statement made available on Wednesday, extended heartfelt condolences over the tragic accident and counseled drivers to be vigilant on the roads.

The statement reads: “The lawmaker urged relevant authorities to intensify efforts toward ensuring road safety.

“Senator Alli also called on drivers to exercise caution, adhere strictly to traffic rules, and ensure their vehicles were roadworthy before embarking on any journey.
