Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has praised Lagos residents for their impressive turnout during the reintroduced Monthly Sanitation Day on Saturday, describing it as a show of “the Spirit of Lagos.”
Residents across Ikorodu, Badagry, Lagos Island, Mainland, Alimosho, Ikeja, and Agege joined the exercise held from 6:30am to 8:30am.
Sanwo-Olu urged Lagosians to sustain the effort and desist from indiscriminate refuse dumping as the state intensifies drainage clearing ahead of heavy rains.
