OGUN CP ORDERS MANHUNT OVER ALLEGED MOLESTATION OF 17-YEAR-OLD

The Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command, CP Bode Ojajuni, has ordered an immediate manhunt for one Mr. Kola over alleged sexual molestation of a 17-year-old boy.
According to a press statement signed by the Commandโs PPRO, DSP Oluseyi B. Babaseyi, the case was formally reported at Adigbe Police Division on September 8, 2026, at about 5:00pm. The teenage victim, who was accompanied by his parents, alleged that Kola sexually assaulted him on three occasions in January 2026 and threatened him to keep silent.
Following the report, the victim was taken to a hospital within the Adigbe axis for medical examination, while detectives commenced investigation into the incident. The Command said the matter only came to its attention upon the formal report made on September 8.
CP Ojajuni has directed detectives to intensify efforts to locate and arrest the suspect, who is presently at large. The Commissioner emphasized that the suspect should be apprehended on sight and brought to justice.
The Command assured members of the public that the allegation is receiving urgent, professional and sensitive investigation. It also reiterated its commitment to protecting children and vulnerable persons across the state.
