US Fact finding congressional delegation visit Ribadu

The United States Congressional Delegation on Sunday held Talks with the National Security Adviser as a follow up to high-level security talks held in Washington last month
The U.S. lawmakers’ fact-finding mission, which included Rep. Mario Díaz-Balart, Rep. Norma Torres, Rep. Scott Franklin, Rep. Juan Ciscomani, and Rep. Riley M. Moore, aimed to verify allegations of genocide against Christians.US Ambassador to Nigeria, Richard Mills was also part of the delegation that visited National Security Adviser.
In a Tweet on his x formerly Twitter page, Ribadu disclosed that the discussion of the meeting will focus on Nigeria–U.S. strategic security partnership and regional stability
“This morning, I received a U.S. Congressional delegation on a fact-finding mission to Nigeria, following our earlier engagements in Washington, D.C., on shared security priorities.
U.S. Ambassador to Nigeria, Ambassador Richard Mills, also attended, reflecting the importance both nations attach to this engagement.
Discussions focused on counter-terrorism cooperation, regional stability, and strengthening Nigeria–U.S. strategic security partnership.
I’m optimistic this engagement will deepen trust, collaboration, and shared commitment to peace and security.” Ribadu said
