There have been two serious crashes at Otedola Bridge on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway into Lagos.
According to the Rapid Response unit of the Lagos State Police Command, an initial accident occurred when a fully loaded truck overturned, spilling its cargo onto the road and covering approximately 90% of the carriageway.
The second accident took place directly behind the first, compounding traffic issues in the vicinity.
Meanwhile, emergency services have been alerted to the incident. Motorists are cautioned to exercise care when driving around the area.
