Lagos Police Command Designates Adebisi as New PRO

Superintendent of Police (SP) Abimbola Adebisi has been appointed by the Lagos State Police Command as its new Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO).
She assumes the position following the appointment of Benjamin Hundeyin, the former image maker of the State’s command, as the new Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO) on September 4, 2025.
She possesses a Bachelor of Arts in Education degree in English Language and Literature from Tai Solarin University of Education, Ogun State, and also earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution and a Master of Arts degree in English Language from the National Open University of Nigeria.
Adebisi is affiliated with numerous professional organizations, notably the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), the International Public Relations Association (IPRA), the International Association of Women Police (IAWP), and the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP).
Her prior roles include Staff Officer to the Deputy Inspector General of Police (Operations), Personal Assistant to the Commissioner of Police in the Special Protection Unit (SPU), and Police Public Relations Liaison Officer at the SPU, Force Headquarters, Abuja.
