Lady Killed by Ex-Lover Following Separation

Deborah Moses, known professionally as Deb’rah Porsche, has been brutally murdered in Lagos by her ex-boyfriend, months after ending their relationship.
Reports indicated that the suspect, identified as Lintex, a native of Otukpo in Benue State, allegedly gained entry into her residence late Wednesday night by deceiving estate security that he was a dispatch rider.
According to accounts shared by activist Meddy Olotu, the suspect subsequently scaled the fence to gain access to the compound after security raised doubts about his identity.
On reaching Deborah’s apartment, he allegedly cut the cooking gas pipe outside the house in a failed attempt to cause an explosion.
When that plan did not work, he reportedly broke into the house, confronted Deborah, and viciously attacked her with a knife, stabbing her multiple times until she d!ed.
The victim’s sister revealed that Deborah had broken up with Lintex over a year ago, but the suspect refused to move on.
“They have broken up for more than a year now, but this guy refused to move on. He keeps making statements like, ‘If I don’t have you, nobody will. If I don’t marry you, blood will flow,’” she recounted.
She added that Deborah, who had just completed her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme and was building her career as an interior decorator, had been avoiding strange calls and unwanted advances from the suspect.
“She was only trying to find her feet when this tragedy struck,” the grieving sister said.
Following the attack, the suspect was subdued by neighbors and then handed over to the police. He is currently in police custody as the family and activists push for justice, insisting that the case must be thoroughly investigated.
