...4 Suspects In Custody

Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have intercepted an unregistered MAN diesel truck at a Lagos exit point conveying 47 sacks of military camouflage uniforms and 80 cartons of drugs suspected to be illicit substances. Four suspects were arrested at the scene and remain in police custody.
Preliminary investigation showed the camouflage uniforms were allegedly being transported to the Eastern part of the country. The truck was stopped on credible intelligence as it attempted to leave the state, police said.
The Command said investigations are ongoing to determine the source, ownership, and intended recipients of the recovered items, as well as the extent of the suspects’ involvement. Efforts are also underway to apprehend other persons connected to the criminal act. Remnants of the seized drugs have been sent for forensic analysis.
