Dembélé Clinches 2025 Ballon d’Or Following Historic PSG Treble

Ousmane Dembélé of Paris Saint-Germain was announced as the winner of the 2025 Ballon d’Or at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris on Monday night.
.The French international, 28, eclipsed Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal and his PSG teammate Vitinha to win the revered award, which is presented annually to the world’s premier male footballer.
Dembélé’s achievement is a culmination of an exceptional season, during which he played a crucial role in PSG’s first-ever UEFA Champions League title victory. He also aided the French champions in securing a historic treble, comprising Ligue 1, the French Cup, and the UEFA Super Cup.

In the women’s category, Barcelona midfielder Aitana Bonmatí won the Ballon d’Or Féminin for the third consecutive year.
