The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has ordered an investigation into the alleged extortion of ₦5.2 million by NSCDC officers
The officers reportedly targeted a group of young men traveling from Ado-Ekiti to Akure.
In a statement, the Minister insists there will be no cover-up, stressing that any officer found guilty will face the full weight of the law.
He reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to building a disciplined and patriotic paramilitary force that upholds justice and serves with integrity.
